Founder and Nurse Practitioner
Shelby Ethier
Shelby has been a nurse since 2015 and spent her nursing career at the bedside, working in the in-patient mental health unit followed by the orthopedics and trauma unit. She graduated from the Primary Health care Nurse Practitioner Program at Western University in 2020. Since then, she has worked at a Nurse Practitioner Led Clinic providing primary care to patients with complex health needs. She has also completed a post graduate certification in Mental Health and Addictions for Nurse Practitioners through the University of Toronto. During her free time, Shelby enjoys spending time with her family, being active and being outdoors.

Sonia Kaushal
Sonia graduated from Masters of Nursing / Primary Healthcare Nurse Practitioner program at Ryerson University in 2015 and has worked in primary care practice in a NP led clinic along with providing full scope of services in virtual care. Sonia is passionate about health promotion and disease prevention in her patients and her motto is to practice “ compassion with competence”. She loves spending time with her kids, cooking, travelling and reading lots and lots of books!

Nurse Practitioner
Justine Jewell
Justine is an experienced Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years in emergency, primary, and complex care. Justine brings specialized expertise in women’s health, menopause management, and care for underserved populations, including those facing barriers to healthcare access. A dedicated educator and clinical leader, she has taught at Western University, Fanshawe College, and the University of Calgary in Qatar, and has contributed to published research in emergency care and nursing education. Her practice is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a deep commitment to health equity. Outside of work, she is a proud mother of three, a partner, and a dancer who finds joy and balance through movement and family life.

Registered Social Worker
Heather Scott
Heather completed her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Social Work at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2012, and her Master of Social Work at Western University in 2016. She has over a decade of experience practicing crisis intervention and solution-focused approaches with children, youth, and families. Heather also volunteered for Victim Services for several years, and she has been an on-call firefighter since 2017. Heather is passionate about integrating mind-body therapies, including self-soothing techniques. Heather is an approved provider for Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB) and the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP).

Raquel Harris-Wright
Raquel is a compassionate and dedicated mental health counsellor and social worker of Caribbean descent, with extensive experience in providing
holistic, client-centered care. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) and a strong academic foundation in psychology and social services, she utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to help clients navigate various mental health concerns. With a diverse professional background, Raquel has worked in both clinical and community-based settings, providing support to individuals facing complex challenges, including BIPOC communities, adults, youth and those dealing with co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. By fostering a collaborative, strengths-based therapeutic relationship, Raquel empowers clients to take control of their healing process and move forward with self-determination, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope.

Virtual Medical Office Assistant / Content Creator
Jessie Shackleton
Jessie is a proud mom of two and as a graduate of the Social Service Worker program at Fanshawe College, she has spent over eight years working with children and families in their early years. Now balancing life at home with her little ones, Jessie operates a licensed day home and supports our clinic remotely as our Medical Office Assistant. She plays a key role in keeping our operations organized, assisting with administrative tasks and internal processes. Outside of work, Jessie enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, baking, and reading.
